In the twelve months from October 2003 to October 2004, we provided entertainment locally, (Devon & Cornwall) for a sixth birthday party, a sixtieth birthday party, (a tea dance), an eightieth, three fortieths, one fiftieth, two eighteenths and four twenty-firsts.
Also one wedding anniversary, two engagements, four school proms, one sixth form leavers ball, two primary school discos, two Halloween parties and a wake.
We also provided entertainment for twenty-one Christmas parties and more than thirty-six weddings.
We provided a season of weekly quizzes in a Newquay Pub and a summer season of quizzes in a local hotel. Also two summer seasons of children's parties and six summer seasons of adult discos in local hotels.
In February we travelled to central London for an eighties night fancy dress birthday party.
Disco
From the moment we arrive at the venue we try to create a good impression. My van is professionally sign written with all the details of the disco. For large shows we hook up the trailer to double our carrying capacity. The trailer is sign written to match the van.Our equipment is professionally built and regularly maintained. It looks impressive even when being carried into the venue. We always carry a comprehensive tool kit and any spares that we may need.
We have been providing disco entertainment for over twenty years during which time we have never let anyone down. We are 100% reliable. You can book us for your special occasion and know that we will turn up. All bookings are confirmed in writing so there is no possibility of confusion.
We pride ourselves on being able to cater for all age groups with music to suit all tastes. We welcome requests for any type of music, either before, or during your evening's entertainment and will do our best to play as many of them as possible. Our music ranges from Glen Miller (or before) to current chart and club hits.
We are pleased to follow your instructions with regard to volume, from background music to a staggering 4000 watts R.M.S. plus of perfect stereo sound. We can provide background music while your guests arrive and during the buffet etc. and have it as loud (or quiet) as you want for the rest of the evening.
We can provide music for a variety of 'Theme Nights' from Rock'n'Roll, Motown, Caribbean (reggae), 60's, 70's, 80's, or 90's, Rock, Punk, Country or Line Dancing. Anything else you require? Just ask

Karaoke
We now offer Karaoke as an add-on to many of our shows. We have over 7000 tracks to sing along to. These include all types of music for all age groups. From 'Bob the Builder' to 'Frank Sinatra'. We supply professional microphones and state of the art equipment to help make even the bad ones sound slightly better. Don't expect us to sing though or everyone would leave! We are happy to organise a quiz, either a one-off or on a regular basis.Normally, for a quiz evening, we would start by playing some music. We would then present the quiz, run through the answers and declare the winner. We would then present the prizes and finish off the evening with some more music.
The quiz can be on a variety of topics, i.e. Music, Pot Luck, Current Affairs, General Knowledge, Specialist Subjects or a variety of questions on any of the above.
We tailor the quiz to suit your audience. We take into account their age group, interests etc. when compiling the quiz.
The emphasis of the evening is on fun. We don't take it too seriously!!!
Wedding Ceremony
If you are having a civil ceremony at the venue, we can provide music through our PA system. This sounds so much better than a portable CD player or similar and adds to the occasion.The music for the wedding ceremony includes:-
Arrival and seating of the guests - allow 10 - 15 minutes
Entrance of the bride - allow 2 minutes
Signing of the register - allow 8 - 10 minutes
Exit of the bride and groom - allow 3 - 5 minutes
Normally the bride chooses the music for the ceremony and supplies it on one or more CDs with the tracks for each part of the ceremony clearly listed. We can supply the Wedding March (entrance and exit) if required.
We have provided the music for many wedding ceremonies in local venues and know most of the registrars.
Other
Children's PartiesWe will happily cater for children's parties for any age group and include the usual games for the younger ones, (musical statues, musical bumps, musical chairs, pass the parcel etc). Children, particularly, seem to enjoy the snow machine, glow sticks and necklaces and bubbles.
Senior Citizens
A retirement party, a tea dance for a sixtieth birthday or an eightieth birthday surprise party. These are three examples of senior citizens events that we covered in 2004. Also most of our hotel summer contracts include senior citizens in the early and late periods of the season. We have all types of music and do our best to involve everyone in the action! One lady told us that she had never seen all of her over sixties club dancing at once before we were there!
Hotel, Pub and Holiday Park Summer Contracts
Simply the best evening's entertainment for your establishment, whatever the age of your guests/customers. We are pleased to follow your instructions with regard to volume and guarantee not to blast your guests out of their seats. We all carry a wide selection of music from Glenn Miller, Rock 'N' Roll, 60's and 70's, Old Time and Modern Sequence to the current weeks Club and Chart Hits.

Bingo
If you would like a full evening of bingo, either a one-off or on a regular basis we will be happy to supply it with loads of fun included.
Alternatively, we are happy to organise and run a house or two of bingo during any of our shows, either before the music or during an intermission. Ever played a house of bingo at a wedding??
We supply all the necessary equipment, tickets, pens etc and award prize money from the sale of the tickets.
